Nominator's project description
| Professor Hongjun Gao is a world leading authority in the investigation of single molecule transport properties at solid surfaces. He and his group have pioneered ideas of potential use of single molecule conductivity in information storage. During his stay in Germany he intends to conduct research on molecules and clusters anchored to ultra thin film oxides in order to design systems with tailored chemical reactivity. Professor Hongjun Gao is hosted by Professor Hans-Joachim Freund at the Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft, Department of Chemical Physics in Berlin. |
